How not to fail in the last 10 second?

Last Friday was our “black Friday”. After over 20 students passed their first test in 2016 so far, we have our first fail in Blacktown. And she could have passed without the last 10 seconds. what happened was that coming back to the car park to finish the test, she went into the exit lane, where she has been in and out correctly for many times in previous lessons, so it’s a lesson for all of us to learn.

Obviously if she could just have used her common sense, this would have never happened. The problem was, she was too nervous to be herself, so the common sense just did not work as it should.

The solution tells by itself, that is, even all of us were nervous in the P test, always allow our own common sense to work, not to let the fears cripple our senses. This is critical for driving safety.

Also denying the fear does not help. When the denial may bring temporary relief it shuts the doors of dealing with and fixing the problem.

On the other hand, if we did a couple of mock tests after learning required skills, we would have known how the test works, by planning it in detail before hand, should help us stay control of the common situations, so we have a bit left over to handle some possible sudden situations. Please do not let common expected situations become anything big or surprising. Here is an example of the test plan, handwriting, drawing, or typing are all fine, as long as we have a plan!
