There are some people would like to learn driving DIY. At auto1 driving school, we support DIY learning whole-heartedly, while its certainly not for everyone.
The number 1 resource is the blog here, you will find life time updates for free, and the posts are quite informative according to the comments I hear. You can also ask questions at every post, and we WILL answer them.
The number two resource is the RTA web site (soon become RMS). I particularly recommend ” A guide to driving test ” (‘http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/downloads/guide_driving_test.pdf) The learner log book has also 20 step by step lessons.
There is also a good book written by Kerry O’Sullivan, the name sucks as its too long, but the content is great. Its name is “The complete learn-to-drive handbook for Australia & New Zealand”…
