I would recommend Will from Auto1 Driving School to anybody who is considering taking driving lessons and who wants to learn how to become a skilled and safe driver. To be honest, my sole reason for registering on this website was to write this recommendation so that others can have the benefit of Wills skills and experience as a driving instructor.
I have had my Learners permit for more than 20 years. In that time I had quite a few driving lessons (including lessons from other driving schools) and I did not make much progress. In fact, I truly believed that I was incapable of driving and that I would never get my licence. A friend recommended Will and I havent looked back. During my first lesson Will instantly put me at ease and assured me that I was, in fact, capable of getting my licence. After a few short lessons, I felt much more confident behind the wheel and I was soon passing trial tests. Will was a patient instructor who thoroughly explained in great detail all of the skills that I needed to pass my driving test.
He took the time to understand how I learn and this ensured that his teaching was effective. As an educator myself, I know how that having a sound understanding of how students learn is critical to their success. I was pleased that Will was able to recognise the teaching strategies which allowed me to be successful, passing my driving test on the first attempt with a score of more than 95%.
